Design Limit provides consulting services within design evaluation and optimisation of structures. The company is owned and operated by myself, Linus Fagerberg. I've been performing work for Swedish companies such as Swedish Defence Material Administration, Swedish Space Corporation, SAAB Avitronics, SAAB Aerostructures, Echandia Marine, Storuman Kraft AB, Atlas Copco and FlexProp among others.

My highest level of education is a Ph.D. defended 2003 within the field of compression strength of sandwich structures. The work focused on the stability phenomenon of wrinkling and I developed design criterias adapted to today’s composites (continuous fibres, high modulus, thin face sheets) and based on modern analysis methods. The results of my research work are published in well renowned journals and are being used by the industry.

I enjoy my work and always strive to exceed my customer’s high expectations. I combine state of the art knowledge within structural mechanics, finite element methods and optimisation with a pure interest for engineering and mechanics.
